A 6-month freelance gig at Georgia-Pacific was extended to over two years! I worked in the GP PRO division, writing about restroom and foodservice products. The bulk of my work was writing product description page (PDP) copy for use on GP PRO’s distributors’ websites. When Georgia-Pacific decided to add e-commerce capabilities to their gppro.com website, we broadened the scope of our PDP content, so that it could be used for gppro.com, as well. As part of the transition to e-commerce, I also edited product names for over 1500 products and wrote Product Overview copy for gppro.com. In addition to the e-commerce work, I edited a weekly GP PRO News email, wrote phone scripts and emails for virtual sales teams, wrote product sell sheets and other materials.
